Harris Primary Academy South Kenton Celebrates Phenomenal Year 6 SATs Results
We are delighted to announce the exceptional achievements of our Year 6 pupils in the 2025 SATs. These results are a testament to the hard work, determination, and resilience of our students, the unwavering dedication of our staff, and the invaluable support from our families.
This year’s outcomes are not only a significant academic milestone but also a reflection of the strong sense of community and ambition that defines Harris Primary Academy South Kenton (HPASK).
A Remarkable Leap Forward
The key national benchmark for primary schools is the percentage of pupils achieving the expected standard in Reading, Writing, and Maths combined. In 2025, the national average stands at 62%. HPASK has achieved an impressive 78%, placing us 16% above the national average and marking a 26% improvement from our 2024 results.

Mathematics
- 86% of pupils met the expected standard (National Average: 74%)
- 46% achieved the Greater Depth Standard
- HPASK is 12% above national expectations
Reading
- 82% met the expected standard (National Average: 75%)
- 46% achieved the Greater Depth Standard
- HPASK is 7% above national expectations
Writing
- 80% met the expected standard (National Average: 72%)
- 5% achieved the Greater Depth Standard
- HPASK is 8% above national expectations
Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPAG)
- 83% met the expected standard (National Average: 73%)
- 39% achieved the Greater Depth Standard
- HPASK is 10% above national expectations
Looking Ahead
These provisional results will be officially validated when the national school performance tables are published in December. However, the achievements already speak volumes. Our Year 6 pupils have laid a strong foundation for success as they transition to secondary school, and we could not be prouder.
